Select Tools then Accounts option from the menu bar after
starting Microsoft Outlook.

Press the "Mail" tab then click the "add"
button.

Select "Mail" as the service to add.

Enter the Name as you would like it to appear on the emails
that you send from this account.
This does not have to match your username or email address so you
can add anything you like.

Enter the reply email address to be used for this account - if
this is the main catch-all email account for your domain name, any
name can be used @yourdomainname as the reply address.
If this is an extra mailbox please refer to the account
instructions for the mailbox and use one of the aliases that have
been specified (although the account can receive mail addressed to
all 3 aliases chosen your email software will only allow you to
specify one reply address for this account).

Select the type of mail account as "POP3".
Enter the mail server as pop.morecambe.net
.
Enter the SMTP (sendmail server) of the ISP you usually use
to access the internet, you may be able to find this from the
existing accounts you have setup in this software or by contacting
your ISP (their FAQ pages may be a useful place to start).
OR
Enter the outgoing mail server as smtp.morecambe.net
If this selection is made then please see note 1 further down this section. This is an additional step that will need to be completed before you send your email. Please complete the following steps first.

Enter the username and password that have been sent to you from Morecambe Net for this mail account.
Remember to follow case sensitivity and do not allow extra spaces to be added on the end of the username or password.
Please ensure you DO NOT check the allow Secure Password
Authentication field.

You have now completed the setup of your POP3 email account. Please test the account by sending yourself an email using outlook express
This is an additional step required if you are sending email through the morecambe net servers. It should be completed once the email account has been set up.
1. You will need to open outlook express
2. Select >TOOLS>ACCOUNTS>MAIL
highlight the morecambe net account in the listand then click the PROPERTIES tag on the right. The following screen will be shown.
A check mark need to be input in the box that says "my server requires authentication" under the Outgoing Mail Server section
